Atlantic Salmon Fishing on the Upper Humber River, Newfoundland, Canada - Maps

There are many areas on the section of the river on this map sheet that are very productive for large trout but only a few for salmon. Moreover, Cache rapids marked as #1 on the map (the only major salmon fishing area on this section of the river) has numerous places that the salmon lay. The rapids is best fished during a run of fish but salmon (including very large 30 pounders) also hold here. Most of the Upper Humber is broken into three map segments the first one is below but only shows one area we fish - Cache Rapids (marked #1 below).  See segment 2, and segment 3 for most of the pools we fish.
